Resumen
Se comentan el contenido y los alcances del libro Muerte y ritos funerarios en el islam. Estudio sobre las creencias religiosas y las prácticas sociales, de Manuel Enrique López Brenes y Roberto Marín Guzmán, publicado en 2021. Además, a partir de otras referencias sobre el tema, se critica la obra en alusión al islam clásico y contemporáneo, a los movimientos populares en el Egipto contemporáneo (2011-2014) y a aspectos relacionados con la muerte procedentes del Egipto antiguo.
