Abstract
This work introduces a translation of the 1946 short story “Miseuto Bang” 미스터 방 (Mister Bang) by Chae Mansik, a classic work from the era of Korea’s liberation that has not been previously seen published in Spanish. The study includes an interpretive analysis that explores the meaning of the short story within its historical context and reflects on the decolonization process as envisioned by the author through a fictional lens. This analysis aims to shed light on the text’s cultural and historical importance, helping readers to understand its theme and perspective.
