Resumen
En este artículo se describen los procesos (tanto en las bases como en el nivel nacional) en virtud de los cuales fue restablecido un linaje monástico budista en Camboya tras un breve periodo, de 1975 a 1979, en que fue abolido el monacato. Se descarta la versión más común de los eventos que describe una serie de ordenaciones irregulares seguida por una ceremonia más regular en septiembre de 1979, que finalmente estableció un claro linaje monástico, y, por el contrario, se asume que las primeras ordenaciones fueron más serias de lo que normalmente se reconoce. Se proporciona, asimismo, información nueva sobre la ceremonia de septiembre.Referencias
